As the civil war in Syria enters its fourth year, Amnesty International is reporting fresh allegations of war crimes in the north of the country. It is reported that on the evening of March 16th 2015, government forces utilized Chlorine gas in an attack on the town of Sermine, Idlib. While a few fighters associated with the Free Syrian Army were affected, the majority of the approximately 100 affected people were civilians. Amnesty reports that the attack was fatal for one entire family which included three children under the age of three. The Syrian military has denied responsibility for this attack.
